Do you think there is still a place for specialist wicket-keepers?

@ICC 🏏 Can a wicketkeeper make a difference? 🤔

@ICC Absolutely yes, just as there is for specialist opening bowlers or spinners or specialist opening batsmen. Seeing a truly great keeper at work is as wonderful as seeing a great fast bowler and in recent times I have missed the opportunity of seeing the best wicket keepers.

@ICC The fact we think this should even be a question means we have a problem with the game. A makeshift keeper in the team soley for his/ her batting is a false economy. Will never make enough runs to compensate for chances missed.

@ICC No--- if a keeper is not good batsman then no space, some margin in test cricket

@ICC They're a vital part of the game. But would like to see more all-rounders.

@ICC If you are not a good Batsman then it will be very difficult for a Wicket-keeper to survive in a team.
