Woke up pondering what it takes for decentralized tech to actually last beyond the hype cycles.
Been looking into @Permaweb_DAO and @0G_labs lately, and their approaches feel like two essential pieces of a bigger puzzle.
@Permaweb_DAO building on Arweave with a real focus on creating a “memory layer” for Web3. Not just storing data forever, but making it addressable and verifiable so DAOs, creators and communities can build proper precedent and institutional knowledge instead of starting from scratch every time. Their Permacast app turns podcasts and AI powered media into permanent, referenceable assets you pay for once.
Meanwhile, @0G_labs is engineering high-performance infrastructure for on chain AI,their storage layer hitting impressive speeds for handling training data, models and agent memory in a decentralized, verifiable setup. Think fast coordination without centralized trust.
What clicks for me is how one handles the speed and execution for today’s AI workloads, while the other ensures the history and outputs stick around for tomorrow’s builders. True progress might need both performance today *and* permanence for the long haul.
