Last night was about more than defending and winning titles, that fight was for my sister, Lily-Rae Simpson, I felt her presence with me every step of the way, and I know she was watching over me 🕊️❤️ Steed Woodall was another step up, and I’ve got nothing but respect for him. I believe I was on the verge of delivering a highlight reel finish. However I understand that the referee had the best view and made the call based on what he saw in that moment to stop him from taking unnecessary punishment and I have to respect that. The support from Barnsley has been absolutely unreal. You lot never fail to show up and make your voices heard. I’m so proud to represent our town and to have such a strong community behind me, I’ll keep pushing to make you proud. Now, we’ve got bigger plans…..
