but yeah long reply short: baelor is maekar's favorite brother, so even tho he's jealous/envious of him he gives him a lot more grace. valarr is his favorite brother's child, and thus removed another step from adoration and therefore a perfect spot to throw his jealousy at. 🙂‍↕️

but if you do wanna go in a ship way, i think you could make a case of maekar being jealous for valarr getting so much of baelor's attention -- but you'd have to be characterizing maekar as someone who is jealous of a child’s attention from their father, so that's something too..

i'm thinking more of like canon interpretation of maekar's feelings around the tourney that he's being asked to attend. i think being jealous of baelor for having a perfect son translates pretty well into being jealous of said son.
