I've been working on consensus research on the side for more than a year ever since I got accepted in the @ethereumfndn protocol fellowship. Over the last couple months, I've been collecting and reviewing the literature around faster finality for Ethereum along with my friend @AbhiMan1601. We condensed our work in an SoK for "Speedy Secure Finality" , a term coined by @VitalikButerin in his blog: vitalik.eth.limo/general/2024/0… Pre-Print for review out soon.

> learn linux > job description says "aws required" > learn aws > job says "kubernetes experience needed" > learn kubernetes > job says "terraform preferred" > learn terraform > build homelab > deploy cluster > break cluster > rebuild cluster > push project on github > recruiter: "any production experience?" > say no > silence > get interview > question: "explain bgp" > you: "i mostly worked with docker" > rejection email > watch devops roadmap video > install another tool > prometheus dashboard looks cool > no traffic to monitor > stare at empty graphs > open terminal again > type kubectl get pods > all running > feel productive

Drop 2/4: Claudio A simple, reliable, lo-latency audio modality support for claude code. When you're tired of writing prompts, just use your voice to tell claude what you think! Built on top of @SarvamAI's STT and @cartesia's TTS models and frameworks, you can interact to and fro with claude code with low-latency responses, giving it a somewhat "jarvis" kind of vibe (its still pretty far from actual jarvis lol). This project is a very early version of my ideation, will pour a lot of time and effort to improve this in future. Will share a detailed video demo tomorrow! github.com/0xD4rky/claudio

I created a Claude Skill that make beautiful slides on the web. The world hasn't woken up to the fact that code can create much better slides than most PPT tools. - Claude interviews you first about aesthetics, then generate a few directions to "show not tell", and you can pick your favorite - Cool transitions and animations - Interactive hover states and cursor effects - Auto-fits on any screen - Supports converting existing PPTX files to web-based slides; preserves original images and brand assets I asked Claude to make a slide show about this skill to showcase what it can do. bro maybe you should just do your due diligence on the right way to write an EIP / ERC instead of attacking two (non-EF) long-time contributors because you didn't immediately get white glove treatment in a decentralized governance process changing this protocol isn't supposed to be so simple that anyone can do it with ten minutes of writing. this is a feature, not a bug. if you want a change, it does take work and understanding how the process works i do work for the EF and if you want to see changes in how governance works, you're welcome to approach people with more kindness and constructive feedback and we can talk about process changes but don't just lash out because you're frustrated and wanna shame people on twitter who have dedicated a ridiculous amount of time to helping people like you
