Remember when Outcast was coming up, they didn't want the South to happen let alone the North...we never really got our shot until Drake and now the North's got something to say and now you got 40, Ida really that producer ecosystem that explodes and blossoms around that. Credit to Drake because when he does his deal and everybody is "Okay, well now you get to work w/ Rick Rubin and Timbaland" and Drake's like, "No, I'm working w/ my guys." That just fertilized the whole community, it's still paying dividends to this day."

I discovered Drake in 2008 during my lunch break at Tshwane Christian High School, I’ll never forget that day. What he’s done for my teenage years and early 20s is beyond words; he’s been a guide in every aspect of my life. Even if Iceman is the last album he ever drops, he’s done more than enough for me to keep playing his music forever.
