Finished up first crop of winter canola today. Was a great experiment. Big thanks to ⁦@agrivation1⁩ harvest crew for top notch threshing. ⁦@grainbiz⁩ for marketing knowledge and logistics. ⁦@sprucedaleag⁩ for agronomy! Teamwork makes the dream work

@agrivation1 @DCHighlander @IanDickison Yup put it thru grass seed box. Ended with 2.8 lbs/ac on 15 inch rows thrilled with how it has progressed so far. See what combine says in coming weeks.

@DCHighlander @IanDickison Your neighbor @13Spinner planted his with a 750. I think it went ok. Lots gets planted with airseeders, similar metering technology😬. And lots gets combined with auger heads. Actually,if the draper doesn’t have a canola auger I would almost pick a regular auger head over draper

Winter canola in the highlands. No seed colour turn yet. These fields will be combined after the wheat is harvested. Likely close to “normal”timing. #ontag
