Who this model hurts: Teams who had previously had MVP players on their roster (eg. Nyck, Len). However there is definitely a case to be made for those who are expected to perform & still do!

If you can truly master (keyword is master) slashing at an elite level in your offensive identity this year, you’re better off. However, the risk is high, if you can’t master it at an elite level you’re better off continuing to shoot volume 3s.
