@AjcRugby Yeah they were the take aways. Newell pretty much matched the Chiefs in baseline. Chiefs had 4 scrum wins in that game which helped too.

Had a proper look at the run-ins and this is where I’ve landed… Stormers to top it. Leinster 3rd. 3 Irish sides in the 8 — Connacht just missing out. Margins are tiny though — one or two results flips everything. Sharks & Connacht right in it 👀 Thoughts?

@BigTimeShels I had Whittaker and Sam McCartan from Westmeath, McGuigan hoping for Tyrone to win and Jackson ultimately bottling it with Wicklow.

@2022Colm I only have 8 playing players. Cos of wexford last minute goal aha. I presumed we were gonna have more than 2 FT cos that makes sense but it wouldn’t be like this game to make sense…. I may take 5 -4 hits tho as it the game is high scoring could make it worth it.

Looking through my transfers for each round in GAA none of the hits costed me points in the long run it was more so other players I sold or didn't get. In Gaelic Football, selling Luke Loughlin and Sam Mulroy were a mistake as was Stephen Sherlock the following round.

Himself and John Muldoon the immediate names that come to mind if Connacht Rugby is mentioned. Hopefully they can link-up again in management.
