@jamonholmgren I feel your pain. A lot of this is just bad UX.

My Blender learning process looks like this: “I should add a camera to this scene.” Look around for 15 minutes. Can’t find anything. The “Add” menu doesn’t have anything like it. Google: “add camera to Blender scene”. It’s 40 youtube videos, each an hour long. ChatGPT it. It tells me to click a menu that no longer exists and select an option that has been removed. I finally screenshot the screen and upload it to ChatGPT, which deduces that I’m in Edit mode, and tells me to switch to Object mode, and helps me find the menu option to add a camera. I add a camera, then try to render the scene. It renders with another camera that doesn’t show up anywhere in the scene tree and I didn’t know existed. Look around for 15 minutes. Can’t find anything. Google “how to set the active camera in Blender…” ... repeat, every step, for 18 months so far ...
