🇱🇧🇮🇱 What’s unfolding in southern Lebanon is getting serious. After an initial Israeli strike on a car in al-Tiri that killed two people, journalists Zeinab Faraj and Amal Khalil went to cover the scene and took shelter nearby. Then came a second strike near that location. Faraj was wounded. Amal Khalil was killed and her body has been recovered. When the Red Cross arrived to evacuate them, the rescue operation was disrupted. The ambulance was hit with a stun grenade and later came under gunfire, with bullet marks visible when it reached the hospital. Rescuers had to pull back. Lebanese officials say journalists were actively pursued and call it an inhumane attack. Israel says it targeted what it considered a threat linked to Hezbollah and denies blocking rescue efforts. So now just saying “Hezbollah” is enough to make anyone a target? No proof. No verification. Just a label… and you get hit. Source: @Aboujahjah, @ALJADEEDNEWS, Al Jazeera

Everyone should read what the Israeli military did to journalist Amal Khalil today in this minute-by-minute account as the international community watched in horror. First the text messages threatening her then trapping her and a photographer in a house then bombing them then firing on international rescue crews, all with the world watching in real time. There are no words left for the horrors that U.S. political leaders are enabling.

This isn’t a post-apocalyptic movie scene. This is what Israel is doing to South Lebanon. Burning homes, markets, shops and civilian infrastructure — without justification or restraint. Deliberate devastation. Pure terror. And it’s all funded by U.S. tax dollars.
