I thank everyone around the world who has responded to the arrival of North Korean soldiers in Russia—and especially those who have responded not only with words but are preparing actions in support of our defense here in Ukraine. Unfortunately, terror can spread like a virus when it faces insufficient resistance. Now, that resistance must be strong — enough to counter this threat. The first battles with North Korean soldiers mark a new chapter of global instability. Together with the world, we must do everything to ensure that this Russian step toward expanding the war—this true escalation—becomes a loss. A loss for Russia and North Korea alike.
