It's been a while since I posted here! Some life updates: I finished my PhD studentship at @ESO and started a postdoc at @UniHeidelberg working in the group of @AstroAndreas ! Here two pics of my first & last day at ESO, time flies when you have fun!🌠🥨 #astro #phd #postdoc

Do you find it normal that they charged me a 214€ cleaning fee saying they spent 5 hours cleaning my 34 sqm apartment when I had previously cleaned it before check out and my landlady was even impressed that it was so clean?😡😡 Is there any way to not pay this from my deposit?

Any tips for finding a flat in #Heidelberg? I am trying the typical wg-gesucht and immobilienscout24 but so far no luck 😭 all tips appreciated🙏

Tbt when I asked my US friend for some tips to avoid being robbed in Chicago... And she replied "don't worry about being robbed, you should worry about getting stabbed"😨😨 honestly glad I am back in Europe...
