no, the deadline remains the same. the addition of a second interview only affects the post-audition process-- it only means that instead of us selecting the talents 1 week after July 6th, it will take an additional couple of weeks instead. there is a chance that the audition period may be extended if the commissioned logo comes in time-- just to create a proper, prettier audition post and give the new folks extra time to submit. however, we cannot predict the chances of that happening.

🐝 q&a !! 82chuu has made some revisions to the original selection process!! originally, everything was going to be text-based. however, due to the high volume of talented folks, we will be having two interviews! the first interview will be an email with a list of questions. these will begin to be sent out periodically starting this weekend, on June 20th. if you do not get an email by the end of the audition period, a rejection email will be sent out, followed by the ability for you to ask for constructive feedback if you’d like! if you pass the email interview, a video call will be set up for the next 2 weeks in the middle of July (can be extended in case someone cannot make it) we are estimating that the final selections will be announced by the end of July. ➡️ questions? ask here! tinyurl.com/ask82chuu

sort of! there are certain elements for each skill (art, MVs, etc) that may need to fit within the vision of the group, but it isn’t super strict or outlined. for example, artists with a Western art style may not be considered, as it wouldn’t fit the artworks usually produced for Japanesese/Vocaloid music covers, but Western is such a broad category that if their style can make it work, then they still might be considered! skill level will be considered, but you do not have to be perfect— a little bit of imperfection gives it more of that homemade idol feel, after all!

this is something 82chuu will have to give more thought based on budget, and based on the success of the group! the talents are essentially using their skills for the sake of the group for free. however, any in-house staff would be paid! such as dedicated editors, animators, etc. 82chuu doesn’t feel right taking any free labor from those who don’t directly benefit from it, wwww. more information will be provided for this after the girls debut! all in all, the idea is not off the table.

no & yes! 1. social media following is not at all considered during auditions. while, statistically, they are *indicative* of more streaming and content creation experience, there is no minimum follower count you need on any platform to be considered. your streaming ability (if you have streamed before) and your skills are the only things being looked at 2. of course! all the talents will still be streamers at the end of the day, too! PLEASE continue to make gaming content, edited clips, commentary, and more! the reason why this form is so focused on idol-content is just to emphasize that the talents would be creating group idol-projects together (and streaming collabs)— anything related to your personal streams, such as making 3 YouTube shorts a week off of clips, is not up to the other talents to help out on UNLESS they’re generous enough to do so. you may— and should— continue to work on your streaming career as normal!

🐝 questions ? ॱ⋅.˳˳.εწз ⊹ ♡ please continue to send any questions or concerns you may have to our maro link! not at all! this will be a case by case scenario, and will be discussed either via interviews or post-selection if needed! 82chuu believes that a good brand and image is important. 82chuu will do its best to keep a consistent image and branding for its group, while also balancing the happiness of its members and making sure they are happy with their designs. if a redesign is needed, it would not be a complete rehaul, unless desired! however, other minuscule things not related to your design may also be discussed in terms of rebranding. this could be the personality archetype you play, the content you produce, etc. once again, the talent’s happiness is priority. these would simply be suggestions, not enforcements, to help each individual girl stand out with their own unique presence!

as long as that talent is also okay with participating in the music covers, they also have a chance! coordinating, organizing, and planning are all vague terms that hopefully all talents should be somewhat skilled at, but if you believe you are someone with the right skill-set to get the group into conventions, events, concerts, find merch/sponsorship opportunities, and more, much more than the average person, you will also be considered!

of course! the main objectives of the artists are— 1. Live2D art (does anyone selected not have a model yet? if so, they’ll need a model drawn! does anyone selected need an updated model/design to fit the VTuber idol image? if so, the artist will update accordingly if consented! is there a special event/holiday coming? let’s draw ourselves matching outfits!) 2. MV art artwork for all song covers chosen to be turned into a music video! assets such as emotes, fanart, thumbnail art, etc are up to the artists’ discretion and the need for them as a group. first off, the founder, Seren Renity, will be 1 of the 2 artists! she has experience in Live2D art, as she has drawn all of her own models, and is more than happy to take the brunt load of this work. she will work extensively with the 2nd artist to make sure they aren’t overburdened! she also works from home, so she understands she may have more time than the other artist to complete said artwork.
