is good for the mom and best for the baby. as long as you are healthy, is the best way to sleep with your child
a SIDS campaign suppressed it by putting smokers, drunks, drug users, obese parents, and people who pass out on sofas in with healthy and normal parents and calling all of it unsafe.
SIDS itself is a diagnosis of exclusion. on careful autopsy it mostly turns out to be suffocation, overlay, smothering, sometimes worse (basically parents killing their kids)
for normal healthy parents the benefits of cosleeping far outweigh the risks. they always have.

pretty incredible if you were a greek stoic 2,500 years ago and knew that in the future some guy was going to use the banner of stoicism to get rich off your work, then claim to be the only one allowed to decide who gets to be a real stoic or not

Uber Eats has basically devolved into illegal immigrant drivers refusing to deliver your food hot and on time unless you pay their extortion demands for extra tips.
If you ignore or refuse they cancel on you and move on to their next victim.

I was born in Nova Scotia in 1986. I graduated High School in 2004 and I didn't see or interact with an indian person in my entire life until mid 2010s
Now I can drive 2 hours, stop for gas and food, not see a single Canadian and by the time I get home I have food poisoning

A grown man mercilessly punching, knocking down, and head-stomping a frail elderly woman on the side of a Chicago highway—while she’s defenseless on the ground. The sheer brutality against someone so vulnerable is sickening. Even worse? Bystanders are filming instead of stepping in to stop it. This isn’t “rage”—it’s savagery. No civilized society lets this slide. Prayers for that poor lady, and may the coward face full justice. 😡
