@purplelight77 @dazzlezzz I would rec. A Painter Behind the Curtain, The King of Home Dating (+ prequel), Missing Love the marrying man, Love or Hate, master-peace, Ennead. Missing love is dark/trauma but the mc+ml have a beautiful relationship and mc heals from trauma.

@dazzlezzz To give an idea of my preferences: I dropped both jinx and painter of the night. I liked mdzs, surge towards you and the hunter's gonna lay low and romance, but not romantic was nice too As I said I'm new and I haven't read much 🙃

A Painter Behind the Curtain 😩🤲🏻 It's plot-driven, has solid worldbuilding, has the one-sided longing, the morally ambiguous deuteragonist, the character and relationship development, the angst, and the redemption that I often look for when I want a cathartic reading experience.

@erney007 Want to also point out the brick colour and awning colours of the restaurant in chapter 99 and 10 are different so there’s more proof it’s a different place 😊

Now back to the beginning of ch99 when it’s clearly states “two years later” in Chicago. Toby is seen with her new style and seems to be much happier. Ian is seen there too without the ring necklace.

#WetSand #웻샌드 About time, places, destination, and parallels. I won’t do any interpretation here other than what I saw in the story. I didn’t make this up, read and you will see it too. In the beginning of ch99, there’re panels with landmarks of Chicago, with narration box clearly state its “Two years later”. From Toby conversation with Ian, the relocated to Chicago for a while and settled themselves here pretty well. Ian’s been working hard he barely had time to hang out with Toby. Also it seems like something important is happening today.

@Shvniki @sjoanok Exactly. I don’t like lezhin. I use it cause I want to support the author’s and their story. Too expensive and I’ve had really poor customer service/support. I hope more series with good plot go to tappytoon.

@sjoanok I feel like some people should understand alot of people dont like lezhin because of the insane pricing. Its not affordable like it used to be and they took away our cheap subscriptions. 4,000 coins for $20? GONE. Also some were on other platforms first so ofc the reviews r low

Hmm I feel a bit uncomfortable with the whole thing about views on lezhin… it makes me sad that some of my favorites have so few views, which doesn’t diminish the quality of the work at all! But seeing my timeline full of comparisons makes me feel sorry for the authors, idk…

@foreternal_love @MiaPista I relatively new too (to the genre) and I found it. I feel it’s cause they push stories w smut but no real depth to characters/plot etc…. Most bl I enjoy seem to get passed over & I feel it’s cause they don’t have any or not enough smut.

@hapnuha @Tia___56_ I feel the same. Honestly the only reason I have Lezhin is to support the author NOT lezhin. Tappytoon is the best! It also has most of my fav’s too!!! Now I hope those that aren’t legally bound only to lezhin will also show up on tappytoon so I can buy them there.

@rapejiwook @Tia___56_ I’d recommend you buy it while on sale cause then you can get all the chapters. This will make reading easier as it’s a hard read but has a good ending. Makes the read worthwhile. I love all the moments between the main couple :)

@Tia___56_ Definitely get while it’s on a sale cause then you can buy all the chapters. It’ll make reading it easier. Especially since it is a hard read but again such a satisfying ending. Love the main couple 🥰
