On this day in 1916 The Arsenal drew 2-2 in a charity match against the Rest of (the London) Combination. The match was in aid of the family of Bob Benson who collapsed and died during a game whilst playing for The Arsenal against Reading on 19 February.

On this day 1925 Arsenal beat Luton Town 4-1 in a friendly. This was one of several games played during the season using proposed options for changes to the offside law.

On this day 1927 the BBC broadcasted first ever live radio commentary of a football match as The #Arsenal faced Sheffield United at Highbury. The pitch was divided into eight areas for the listeners to be able to follow where the game is being played. Final result was a 1-1 draw.

@Dirtysanchez57 According to a newspaper report in 1891, he produced programmes before and during the FA Cup game against Derby! There was also a boys' home that produced programmes around this time.

@AFC_Collection Hi Bud, i have the original single card programme which is identical 2 this one 4 the friendly fixture against Accrington Stanley on the 13th January 1894 on the back there is a poem by Albert Craig, i did not know until now was that Albert Craig produced these issues thank you.
