After my stream yesterday, I was asked to give a more thought out response on the Ana and VAllure situation so here are those requested thoughts. I find this completely unacceptable and disgusting behavior from Stronny, founder of VAllure. My friend @acvalensVT wrote a critical Vice article back in April 2025. After I read it on stream, I found that it called out real issues at the agency: the confusing and insensitive handling of trans talent auditions, the heavy promotion of lolicon style “lolipop” models doing explicit ASMR, and the outright ban on F4F (lesbian) content in favor of only straight F4M appeal. The article was censorious, yes and Ana herself has since owned that. She’s publicly regretted the overly inflammatory tone, admitted the outlandish comparisons and loli criticism sections should never have been there, and made it clear her feelings toward VAllure have genuinely changed to be more open minded. She’s even gone out of her way to praise the agency as full of “many talented and wonderful women” and continues state that and advise trans women to apply. Her only ongoing concern is making sure trans women are truly safe, welcome, and not subjected to gatekeeping or hostility a fair, valid, and important question, especially after the founder herself went on a zatsu stream and told Ana things I personally wouldn't dare to even repeat or even write. I find that my other friend Nyara put it perfectly below the VTuber space (although I believe this is more of humanitarian issue rather than a vtubing one) is quick to hurl stones at trans creators, then screams “drama” the moment anyone pushes back against scummy behavior and harassment from people in positions of power. It must feel like they are supposed to stay quiet, smile through it, and accept this kind of rhetoric, or suddenly we’re the toxic ones. That double standard is exhausting, harmful, and has no place anywhere. Stronny’s rant wasn’t “based” or just strong opinion it was unprofessional, escalatory, and crosses every line of basic human decency. Wishing death or suicide on a critic raises the temperature in the entire community and discredits any claim VAllure has to professionalism. To that point I believe she is UNFIT to be part of VAllure any longer. Stronny is clearly a failure at social interactions and has no place being part of VAllure with this rhetoric. I call it as I see it and this was clearly and loudly to protect trans rights, to push back against the normalization of telling people to kill themselves, and to ensure critics aren’t bullied into silence. Ana has demonstrated maturity, accountability, and continued support for the trans community in this space. The least the rest of us can do is stand besides her. VAllure’s talent deserves better. The VTuber community as a whole deserves better standards. There should be basic level of human decency and respect for trans voices. Hate me for it but I will be standing with Ana Valens 100% on this matter. - The Don 🐂🌹🕊️
