I see a lot of artists building their identity around AI hate, and it’s gaining them some clout and engagement, but through pessimism and negativity, bullying and cancel culture. I’m disappointed with my peers that put their blinders on and turn their back on tech that is already here and is incredibly powerful. I don’t care if you’re anti GenAI, but if you jump onto other artists’ pages and shame them for simply having fun and experimenting with bleeding edge tech, I’ve lost respect for you. Learn to coexist with others who are different from you. I’m tired of seeing artists attacking artists for staying ahead of the curve and expanding their toolset. You’re no better than the AI bros chanting “Hollywood is cooked” when you post “slop” anytime you can.
