He could have given up 7 runs in the 4th inning, and he still will be sent out for the 5th inning. Their rotation is also GOD AWFUL. Freeland will lead this team in innings pitched by desperation this year. He also gets a bad rap for pitching in Colorado. In away games since 2024, he’s over this line in 19/21 games, with one of those missed vs the Brewers, who were the hottest offense in baseball. The Marlins…. aren’t a hot offense, especially vs LHP. They were among the AVG teams vs LHP last year, but they swung at will. They had the LOWEST Pitches/PA in the MLB last year, making them an elite over outs target. Lots of returning players for Miami, all of whom suck vs LHP. Only 1 player has an AVG over .255 vs LHP in 2025. Oh yeah, and Freeland went over this line in both games vs Miami last year. Just a perfect read.

🚨 MLB Safe Haven Play #2 🚨 Michael King- Over 15.5 PO 📈 I don’t really understand this line. King had trouble with injuries last season but he’s worked up ready for a full workload which is about 90 pitches. This lineup hasn’t really ever seen King which should absolutely help him here. Detroit absolutely cracked Pivetta yesterday only going for 4 innings and made them go to the bullpen early so I’m expecting a long leash today. King has a .224 BAA which ranks in the top 25% of all MLB pitchers. He also boasts a 25% K rate which is also top 25th % as well. This line just seems extremely low.
