Workshops: We are looking for a combination of hands-on and demonstration style workshops! Hands-on workshops are great for learning more about preparation techniques in-person. Demonstrations are great for in-person and virtual teaching. paleomethods.org/Workshop-Submi…. (4/4)

Have you ever seen the Madagascan sunset moth? It gets its stunning iridescence not from pigment but from the way light reflects off the scales of its wings. Its bright coloring also warns predators of its toxicity, which it obtains from the Omphalea plant as a caterpillar.

Field trips (paleomethods.org/Field-Trips) are in Morden May 7th and Winnipeg May 11th. May 7th trips focus on local geo and paleo field sites. May 11th Winnipeg trip will have behind the scenes tours at U. of Manitoba and Manitoba Museum. Sign up with link in reg. confirmation email!

Don't forget to sign-up for workshops - beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels available (paleomethods.org/Workshops/)! Hybrid and in-person-only workshops are available. Workshop are first come, first serve: sign-up link is in the paid meeting registration confirmation email.

Morden is approximately 1.5 hours from Winnipeg. Our host hotels are the Best Western Plus in Morden (May 6-10) and the Hilton Winnipeg Airport Suites (May 11). More information is available on the website (paleomethods.org/Accommodations) to make reservations for your stay.
