@MuchoTV2 Ah, I see thanks for clarifying. I assumed they got taxed like you mentioned then have to file taxes at the end of the year in both countries. But I did some googles (Ai) and they get taxed credits back at the EOY to avoid double taxation.

@AManLikeCheese That’s not how it works. You get taxed for every jurisdiction you play in. So like a Knicks player gets taxed 41 times for every home game and then gets taxed for every away game as well (including when they play Toronto 4x). There is no double taxation

The taxes when it comes to playing for Toronto are on par with New York and California… also your spending power is high as hell cuz you’re paid in USD and buy things in CAD. I hate this ignorant trope by American players
