Devs: "use more stratagems" Glazedivers: "THESE MODIFIERS MAKE THE GAME SO CHALLENGING WOW" Reality: it's just annoyances disguised as difficulty since there's no tangible counterplay aside from using less stratagems... Same song, different dance with hive guards :) muppets.

@OhDoughPlays Counterplay doesn't just mean having a magical button that removes the counter it can take form in many ways
The game teaches us early on how valuable our call ins are and the modifiers are a test of those skills were taught

@OhDoughPlays The counterplay is called being strategic with your stratagems which is how most people play casual or not
Players decide whether or not expending a stratagem is useful in the moment or if they may need it in the future

They simply modified the game as you said and have little to no impact on player enjoyment other than wanting more difficulty or something to shake things up

You didn't have to dive there. There were many other planets you guys could've tackled without those modifiers.
Some found it fun and some didn't. It wasn't that deep.
I didn't see anyone going "HOLY SHIT THIS IS AWESOME, GROUND BREAKING"

@Poodros Not in the slightest cognitive disruptor makes codes random
Electronic Countermeasures swaps the codes with other codes meaning you could accidentally call in the wrong strategem

@IzumiYukaSmile @Ambiguous_Twat Yea so not only is half his argument about stuff that doesn't exist anymore everything he was against got nerfed to the ground for player enjoyment
Frankly I would've been fine with having the call down times back to their og state but I remember it was annoying getting weapons

Complex stratagem plotting and fluctuations are now half of their previous values.
Atmospheric interference doesnt exist.
I miss electronic countermeasures, with scrambled stratagem codes

@Med1_D1v3r That being said it wasn't unfair it told you the codes you had in the display so if you made sure to double check the modifier was a non issue
People actually thought it was a bug it was so unnoticed

If you had a machine gun code and a 500k code itd swap them and you can probably guess how that goes 💥

@Ceaseless_boid Its really been upsetting because every time theres a "bad" update the game always still feels fine. Like i didnt notice the hiveguard changes much! The only time i really got bothered was when fire got nerfed like 2 years ago lmao

At least I haven’t seen atmospheric interference at all
And the other 2 are barely an inconvenience
