the real tea about being a bedroom pop singer is you can basically fix pitch and timing of your singing with melodyne but you can't really fix pronunciation or like a weird throat sound in your take. so i try to be insanely precise about my diction and the rest i leave up to God

his answer was: in SF in 99 raves would specifically forbid nitrous and search people for it at the door. it was seen as antisocial and anti rave ethos. this is much different from the culture of today in LA where nitrous is present at almost every event and a big money maker

just got back from an amazing screening of GROOVE (2000). world premiere of the 4k restoration. a movie with a lot of heart that genuinely captures the spirit of the rave. left the theater really grateful it was made and was able to preserve the culture
