This has made my day! So proud of commitment & effort staff have put into making relational approach work so well - been quite a journey & a lot of hard work but absolutely worth it. Proud to be a WTAC Partner School. You & that book have a lot to answer for @pauldixtweets! 💙
When The Adults Change@TheAdultsChange

Offering a warm welcome to Flakefleet Primary School (@Flaketweet) our latest WTAC Partner School. Read about their ‘Dare to Dream’ approach to relational practice here: whentheadultschange.com/flakefleetprim… Glad to have you onboard @dave_mcpartlin! #EduTwitter

@montie She sees the Tory Party for what it has become, a shadow of itself, inconsequential, bitter, faux Reform & empty of intellectual heft. Which is both sad & terrifying - it empowers Reform & diminishes democracy. I’ve always opposed the Tories whilst accepting their seriousness.

I’m not at all surprised but it is remarkable how much coverage mainstream media gives to Sayeeda Warsi and her bitter attacks on the Conservative Party.

🚨New ASI research has found that Labour's tax on private schools could cost the taxpayer upwards of £2.5 billion🚨 The new policy may lead to a massive exodus of high skilled parents from the workforce and withhold educational opportunities from poorer students Here is a short 🧵

This has so many layers of stupidity. A. No one TOLD us everyone would be famous - Andy Warhol simply stated it. B. It was 15 minutes. C. No one other than people like you are being called far right.

Part of our nation’s healing is to promote a new partnership between govt & voluntary agencies because, if funded, local charities can respond far more sensitivity to community concerns, with a level of relationship & insight which is impossible for more remote bodies to achieve.

Next time English football thugs smash up a Spanish bar, I’d like to ask Matthew Goodwin if it’s because they have legitimate concerns. THREAD

You know absolutely nothing @kelvmackenzie . I was a full-time teacher for 14 years, freelance consultant for 12 and now 8 years in corporate. The least family friendly time and most demanding was the 14 years of teaching. PPA at home away from distractions is simply sensible.

This has been the case for 20+ years. I’ve seen it in many settings. Prior to Ofsted the issue was over promoted incompetence (almost as a way of hiding it!) We need a way of recognising, celebrating and sharing good leadership, which in turn will mean Ofsted sees more excellence

As we face up to the huge challenge of record high school exclusions & suspensions, poor behaviour is once again framed as the cause. It’s a mistake. Poor behaviour is a symptom of the issue, not its cause. We’ll never solve behaviour issues until we deal with its drivers!

@Nigel_Farage these events do not occur in a vacuum. All @Nigel_Farage aims to do is divide and create intolerance (whilst in US for no good reason). @CATCHLeeds shows what is the real potential of the community in Harehills.

@Nigel_Farage Utterly contemptible! You made a racially inaccurate judgement about a situation you knew nothing about & now throw vile accusations at others. I know Harehills (lived there for 5 years) disenfranchisement can provide the fertile ground for these events. Not condoning but..

Some say the poor are poor because they’re lazy and wasteful. I disagree. The vast majority are poor because of the injustices of society & specifically our failure to properly invest in the care, health, education & future of our children. That’s why we need a decade of renewal!
