🇮🇷🚀🇮🇱 Iran dominates Israeli skies with missiles – former spy 👉 Israeli missile defenses have proven useless against Iranian missiles, former British diplomat and ex-MI6 agent Alastair Crooke states. 🔶 Crooke argues Israel has run out of anti-ballistic missiles. The newest Iranian warheads re-enter the atmosphere at Mach 18, he says, and claims Israel can only hit missiles traveling at up to Mach 4. 🔶 The failure stems from the West’s underestimation of Iran – the same mistake it made with Russia. 🗣 Iran has some of the best engineering and technical institutes in the world and has gained missile dominance over Israel, Crooke says.

🇮🇷⚔️ 🇮🇱Israel’s Somaliland gambit for war with Iran In December 2025, Israel made a surprising move by recognizing Somaliland’s independence and establishing relations. The reason is now coming into focus: Israel was already bracing for all-out war with Iran. Limited access to the Strait of Hormuz made sense for Israel as well: 🌏 Global oil and gas prices are spiking, driving up fuel and electricity costs. While Israel can rely on its own natural gas, it has no domestic oil. Nearly 46% of its oil comes from Azerbaijan—and with energy logistics under threat, prices at the pump are rising. 🌏 Asian goods routed through the UAE’s Dubai megaport are now out of reach amid the logistics collapse. That means fewer imports and higher prices for consumers in Israel. To offset the disruption, Israel needed a secure maritime corridor through the Bab el-Mandeb Strait—the closest Arabian Sea shipping route to the Red Sea and the port of Eilat. Even if the Houthis entered the war and closed both the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb to shipping heading towards Eilat, Israeli ships would be able to enter ports in Somaliland, as they have already established bilateral relations. 👍

Iran Demands Gulf States Break From London-Wall Street Axis Alastair Crooke: They are looking for a rapid, systematic change of the West Asian situation of the GCCs, saying to the GCCs, “You’ve got to learn to deal with us if you want to do business and you want to continue.” And the aim is to undermine and to end the petrodollar and dollar hegemony in the area. And part of their requirements, not listed by the Supreme Leader in this, is that you’ve got to give up your data centers and all the elements which are connected with the United States. If you want to do business through Hormuz, you have to get rid of all of these elements, including Microsoft, Amazon, and all these elements that you’re using. They have to go too. You have to disabuse yourself, and in such a case, then we will secure it. If you want greater security, you better look to China for your security in the future.

If the United States fails to break Iran and Tehran comes out standing, Jolani’s Syria becomes a fragile project overnight, because this “new Syria” survives on American cover, Turkish leverage, and Gulf money, and all three will recalibrate the moment the U.S. is forced to accept it can’t dictate terms to Iran. Alastair Crooke argues that an Iranian survival — let alone an Iranian victory — would trigger a wider regional rebalancing, especially in the Gulf, because the energy and trade lifelines can’t be secured without eventually dealing with Iran. And when the Gulf recalculates, Syria recalculates. He also warns against the kind of “wild thinking” you hear in American circles that Hezbollah can be “managed” by pushing Jolani to the battlefield in the Bekaa. Crooke’s says that kind of escalation fantasy is exactly how empires get trapped in unwinnable wars. .@AWCrooke

According to Alastair Crooke, the unfolding developments point to a shift in the balance of power, in which #Iran’s ability to leverage geography, energy, and strategic patience has begun to redefine the terms of engagement. en.mdn.tv/8zKj
