@scoutbuggy I don't like the pop effect activation. I mean, there's plenty of going second pushes that include trying to DESTROY your opponents board. But other than that i think its perfectly fine

Because being smart or being into things that didnt fit societal standards of "whats normal and the best". Those white people used to be with us until they got popular

The thing is, if you're not depicting "the outcast" as being a pariah for unfair reasons (being fat, autistic, poor, non-white, queer, mentally ill, etc) then it just comes off like they're an outcast because they're an asshole who thinks they're better than everyone else

Hardly the first one to bring it up but an issue with a lot of larger studios doing "The weird outcast" kid trope is how they strip the politics away from outcasts Aspects of race, sexuality, able bodiedness etc are removed to be as marketable as possible now

Media literacy is dead in the water because people don't understand the simplest troupe of a "Monkey's Paw". He didn't ask to be loved. He asked specifically for one person to be obsessed with him. If you think obsession = love, you kind of deserve to be screwed over. Lol

Video games are a male hobby, the difference is men are fine with you being in their hobby as long as you're not annoying. It's sort of like how make up is a predominantly female hobby/industry. Men aren't bitching that you guys also get 75% market share of every clothing store either, cause we get it. Women buy more clothes than men it makes sense. Just like how men buy more video games than women do. But it's funny how only one side of this upsets you

@iirokashi @aeretix_ Something else. Theres 10s of thousands of games if not more. There is a game that is perfect for you out there. The hobby is big enough for everyone, theres no need for you to demand any one thing change to cater to you. At best, give your criticisms of media and move on

@iirokashi @aeretix_ Better graphics than that? How would you even get better graphics than that? Better tech? I'm still running with a 5(?) year old $1000 pc. I play modern games on it at medium settings with 8gbs of ram. As long as it plays the games, who needs to waste money on improvement?
