I will be stepping away from social media for Lent. If you do not see me respond to something, that is why. I want to use this time to turn my heart back to God and prepare myself for Christ my Savior. I hope others will also consider this season as a chance to grow closer to the Lord. Tomorrow we hear the call to return to Him with our whole heart. I pray that this Lent brings you peace, strength, and a deeper sense of His love.

Oh yes I have no doubt or at the very least you can wish you could. I am a little over three years post break up of my 27 year marriage. I found out the night before that she was getting into her SUV and leaving for Phoenix to never return. She was my best friend, the mother of my child the person who I had literally grown with from teenagers into adulthood. Those years in your late teens and early to mid 20th where you were discovering so many things that you weren't aware of and new interests and possibly new goals well we spent side-by-side discovering them together. I'll tell you what though: I'm still here and she's not and yes my heart is broken But... In the meantime I'm going to spend the next 40 days praying and not focusing on me or her but rather the tenants of my faith and preparing myself to renew my devotion and give thanks. That is a long winded way of saying that it will hurt for a lot longer and in some ways maybe there will always be a slight tenderness like a childhood injury but one way to deal with that is by seeking out the infinite and leaving the self alone for a little while to heal. It is a discipline and it is something that has to be practiced but letting go of the eye and removing it from your vocabulary for a time will I guarantee you make the days easier. Anyway that's my two sense. Unfriending getting ready for bed but I wish you nothing but the best of luck my friend and I feel for you. It sucks and it'll keep on sucking until it doesn't!

I am letting the dogs out for my lunch break and calling around and seeing if any of the emergency dentists have an opening. I have some wicked tooth pain going on right now. It is also making me light sensitive and I can't look at my screen.

Until she was about four or five her mother used to get very annoyed because people would see her and immediately start gushing about how she looks just like her dad while she stood they're annoyed thinking "I put in all the work". She certainly grew into her own I've got some vintage clothing photo shoots somewhere that she participated in where she is the splitting combination of both her mother and myself but with the best of both worlds. Love that kiddo!

I am so sorry Courtney. I used to get that and I would have to sit on the side of the bed and push downward forming a circle around my legs almost as if I was trying to push some thing from under my skin down to my ankle. It would usually take 10 to 15 minutes per leg for that to work for me but I don't know if there is the same underlying nerve conduction issue. Fortunately I haven't had that since I got the ketamine infusions which I usually do once a year now as a follow up. I do still however get the ants under the skin sensation on everywhere from my arms or hands or feet. It's so freaking annoying when you are trying to go to sleep! I hope you get some relief soon!

I can’t sleep. My quads feel like something is slithering around beneath my skin. It’s a rather unpleasant sensation.
