@timehascome14 @CoQueenBee Regarding money, most of it wasn’t cash, it was weapons. Even cash that Ukraine received is in some American defense contractor’s pocket by now. It’s coming straight back to American economy.

@timehascome14 @CoQueenBee Fog of war is a thing. It takes time for proper information to come from the field to president. It was an Air Defense missile, which wouldn’t be launched in the first place if Russia wasn’t launching missiles. It’s Russia’s fault.

@benshapiro US NATO provoked Russia into war for the last decade or so. This is a proxy war of the US using Ukraine as their proxy. Right now there is much less than 100K Ukrainian solders still alive, and those will be killed too, unless we start permanent peace talks now.

Zelensky is not wrong to seek more American aid; it's in the interest of his country. The United States is not wrong to provide aid; defeating Russia's invasion is in the interest of our country. But this does not mean that the Ukrainian and US goals here are identical...

@timehascome14 @CoQueenBee Zelensky’s proposal for peace is simple: Russia should pull its troops out of Ukraine’s territory. Russia can achieve peace instantly. Why is Russia not seeking peace? He wouldn’t have inadvertently shot rocket to Poland if Russia wasn’t lunching rockets in the first place.

@Shepardofmaine Because of a little thing called “sovereignty”. Once ex Soviet states gained independence, they were free to join whatever alliance they wanted and host whoever’s based they wanted.

Don't make this about Republicans, Slisco. Bush Sr & Clinton made peace with Russia when you were still in school. So why did the US continue building bases & gobbling up ex Soviet states for NATO if not to squeeze Russia's life away? This is a neo con plot not progressive.

Gaetz and Boebert were spotted scrolling through their phones and refusing to clap or stand for Zelensky as he addressed Congress on Wednesday. #Echobox=1671677018" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">newsweek.com/lauren-boebert…

@MegMundell Both are war criminals. Why is there no peace talk? Why is Zelensky begging and not trying to resolve things with Russia?

The Russian funded propaganda farms & tweetbots are out in force tonight, trying to slander Zelensky. Putin is freaked out by global support for Ukraine. Propaganda: #ZelenskyWarCriminal Truth: #PutinWarCriminal

@robertjlundberg @laurenboebert What democracy is under threat? If Donbas is given it's freedom by Pres. Zelensky, the war ends. Ukraine and Russia will still be democracy s, and Donbas can choose whatever it wants. The war is 9 years long. Time for peace.

Mitch McConnell said that sending funds to Ukraine "is the number one priority for the United States right now." Funny, I thought he was a Senator from the great state of Kentucky. Last I checked, Kentucky was in America.

@KevinKe72480208 I totally agree, Kevin. Zelensky has basically refused peace talks, which seems very fishy, too. The gravy train for him is too good. He cares as much about his countrymen as the politicians here care about us. This all about enriching themselves and controlling the masses.

If Ukraine and Russia sign peace agreement & the war ends, will Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky bring back the suitcases of money we just gave him?

@MEGACHAD9001 @BlairHoughton @elizableu With example of GDPR, EU can impose fines of €10M or 2% of global turnover in previous year for violation. Some American companies already got fines, such as Amazon (€746M), Meta (€405M), and Google (€90M).

@MEGACHAD9001 @BlairHoughton @elizableu But corporations operating in foreign countries can absolutely face consequences in countries they operate. Furthermore, EU regulations can reach even outside EU borders, as for example GDPR.

@BlairHoughton @elizableu Breaking the law in another country you aren't a citizen of, or even IN has zero results. As a US citizen I cannot be compelled to abide by the laws of another country unless I am actually traveling there.

@JamesBe35860175 US Military had no issues against Taliban on the battlefield. It gained control of most of the territory in opening months of the invasion. Building a stable puppet government was the issue.

@AddisonMandy96 Inadequately trained hill people lacking air power, tanks, nuclear weapons and many other modern weapons defeated Russia and the U.S. in Afghanistan. Armed civilians willing to fight alongside our military or alone if necessary are a deterrent to foreign invasion of the U.S.

The Second Amendment exists partly to protect citizens from a tyrannical domestic government but also to allow citizens to defend against foreign invasion. You want to know why I need weapons of war? It’s because foreign armies have weapons of war.
