The Village of Addison is aware of reports of rat sightings. This issue does not stem from any particular source in the Village, but rather is an ongoing regional issue. Please be informed that there are several actions that residents can take to help mitigate this issue:

Old Mill School was active from September 1961 - June 1982. The property has since been utilized by various nonprofits. After ASD4 decided to sell the property, Addison acquired it, removed asbestos from the building and began demolition to redevelop the land into housing.

The intersection of Michigan Ave and Moreland Ave will be closed overnight (3/9/2026 - 3/10/2026) for the Village's ongoing Sewer Separation Project. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
