@GeoffKennedy It's ridiculous! I'm generally OK if I just get a quiet half hour with coffee to set out a mental plan. Interruption during that time tho... deadly! Garage is too easy. I'm moving house 😆

@AffiliateStuff Oh no. Consider those thoughts gone. You're never getting them back. Could you work from the garage and consider it a 'no access danger zone'?

Trying to regain work routine, but struggling. My mother has formed a habit of walking into my house / office with no warning. I have terrible concentration, and just as I pulled together some thoughts today she said "HELLO!!" Didn't hear her coming. Brain has imploded😵‍💫

Roughest week of my life. Life saving op on Tuesday went really well, back home. Doc has given me 3-6 months left. On the positive out of 120 people diagnosed with the my cancer a year in the UK, Ken from Durham reaches out l, we are almost identical medically. He’s my new bro

@redbarrington It was an absolute blur and I don’t think we will ever get our heads round what happened. But he got amazingly well looked after. We’ve been so lucky ❤️

(1/2) Been MIA. This was advanced bowel cancer & had spread to his liver, lymph nodes, and lower stomach. Chemo resistant, and resectability marginal. 😱 Miraculously, he's been cancer free since last August. He had an unusually strong response to Immunotherapy then surgery.

@danbarker Thanks Dan, we were stunned when they told us he’d had a complete response to treatment. We aren’t going to waste a minute of the time we’ve now got together!

@AffiliateStuff this is incredible. I'm both so sorry to hear about it all, and so glad for you that he seems to have been a miracle patient. very best wishes to you and to him.

@JustinOGale Thanks Justin, it's been vile but we're just relieved he got that result. It'll be a slow return to work in 2025 for me!

@johnnyratcliffe Oh gosh, that's utterly awful. I know you'll have had a painful time of it with a bowel blockage. My husband had a week in hospital with that at one point. Has it resolved? A shit coincidence indeed!!

@AffiliateStuff Wow Kirsty - I remember following you years back. I too have advanced melanoma stage 4 aged 45. And I’m in hospital recovering from a blocked bowel. What a shit coincidence!

I visited one of the oldest rainforests in the world today. Majestic scenery.

I'm pretty pleased with this small project (scratching an itch) that I built whilst building something awesome for LW. Check it out and have a play.

@rickyjwillis There's always a path forward, but it can indeed take time to find it! My site was very badly affected, but Bing loves it so there's quite a bit of scope there for me. I'm looking at a small ecommerce project first though. Time for some new ideas. Good luck.

@AffiliateStuff Thanks, Kirsty! Yep, it’s frustrating - especially as Google featured us in their publisher stories, which you would have thought meant we were doing something right. We do have some ideas to pull it back, we’re just going to need a bit of time (which I’m not sure we have).

It's not a great time for Skint Dad at the moment 😩 Google is decimating our traffic week after week, and it’s now getting to the stage where tough decisions need to be made 😐 100% not giving up but may well have to consider freelance/temp work until we pull it back 🤞

@SkintDad We used to menu plan, saved a literal fortune. Now I'm to be found every day at 4pm, foraging in desperation within the aisles of Aldi. I also get my "Asda big shop" on a Friday. Not a space in the freezer, no meals anywhere. I'm available for hire as a lifestyle journalist. 😆
