Genuinely curious: if you're a #BlueJays fan, are you actively rooting for Bo Bichette to fail with the #Mets? Saw this clip circulating of Bo from yesterday, and it seemed like folks were taking a victory lap on his departure. Not sure I can conjure up any ill-will for Bo.

Gerry Conway, a writer for Marvel Comics who created the Punisher and other famous characters has died at 73. “Gerry Conway was a gifted writer. On behalf of his family, we are sad to share that Gerry Conway has passed away. Gerry was a tremendous icon in comics who shaped pop culture itself. He was a dear friend, partner, and mentor, and our hearts are with his family and the millions he touched through his work.

@KeruboSk Pretty sure I chatted with a few octogenarians as a kid (circa 1980) or older who lived in the neighborhood. No one close me was that age. My nonna was only in her 50’s when I was growing up. The oldest I got to know was a WWII Vet named Gordie. He was 73 at the time (1991).

Just out of curiosity… who out there has actually talked to someone born in the 1800s during their lifetime?
