I just told my parent that i m dropping out of 4 years of software engineering degree with 1 semester left, they are so crazy with me, we can't talk since they knew about it, lol, i feel that pressure too, but any way, i m able to make more than what a job can offer me, just they aren't at the same level of vision and ambition i have and want to achieve, just want me to be safe, doesn't mean they don't want me successful, no really, they are just uninformed of what exactly i will do and how my life will be.
Being i m they first in my family to ever drop out, and also first son ( have couple of sister who are holder ), this makes them hopeless, but i know this will be for months and they will understand my decision later !

For two years after I dropped out of uni, I ended every day with the same question: Was I productive today?
I had this immense pressure to prove the decision right to my family, to myself. Every unproductive hour felt like failure and every missed task became a reason to beat myself up.
That cycle burned me out faster than the work ever could.
What shifted it was simple. Philosophies like ichigo ichie and atomic habits made me realise not every day needs to be 100%. It just needs to move you 1% forward.
That 1% compounds. Quietly, consistently, without you needing to be perfect to feel it.
But the mindset alone doesn't sustain it.
What actually makes the 1% possible is having systems in place that support it. Clear workflows. Intentional rhythms. Structure that removes friction so showing up becomes easier than not.
Now I measure my days completely differently and become less harsh to myself as long as I put in the 1% every single day.

Here is a counterintuitive approach to YouTube growth: stop sharing your videos the moment they go live.
Many new creators rush to blast their latest link to friends, family, and social groups immediately after publishing. While it feels like productive promotion, it is a massive mistake if you are just starting out.
Here is exactly why instant external sharing can completely sabotage a brand-new channel:
•THE ALGORITHM STARTS AS A BLANK SLATE:
When a channel is brand new, the algorithm has zero data on who your target audience is. It needs to find your seed audience entirely from scratch by testing your video against organic search and browse features. If you flood a brand-new system with external traffic from mixed demographics (like your aunt, your college roommate, and your coworker), the algorithm gets completely confused about who to recommend the video to next.
•IT DESTROYS YOUR AUDIENCE RETENTION:
This is the most critical factor for a new creator. Your personal contacts click the link out of support, but they rarely watch the video all the way through because they are not your target audience. They leave after 30 seconds. For an established channel, a few casual drops don't matter. But for a new channel, this terrible initial watch time signals a low-quality video to the system, causing the platform to stop recommending it entirely.
•IT SKIPS THE CRUCIAL ORGANIC TESTING PHASE:
YouTube has an incredibly sophisticated distribution system. By letting your video sit undisturbed initially, you give the platform clean, unskewed data to analyze your metadata. This allows it to find viewers who actually want your content, which is the only way to build a sustainable subscriber base from zero.
If you are building a new channel right now, resist the urge to share your link. Let the platform do its job first, let the algorithm find its footing organically, and save the external promotion for much later.
What is your strategy when publishing a new piece of content?
Do you promote it instantly or let it breathe?

@BeatsandRants He only had the umlaut on the first album. This is the "Y" from the Black Album and the American Gangster covers.

This is fire 🔥! You should have used the Ÿ for Jay-Z but it's all good.
Great design.

Has this been done?

I think sometimes the mistake we make is sharing our content right after publishing. Once you post the very first video on YouTube... Actually right after creating your channel, don't share it anywhere. And if you happen to post a video, don't share it yet. [THREAD]
