i wanna commission/subsidize/work with a visual artist (painter?) to do a series of pieces, one for each category of fetishspace. I wanna base them off interviews I've done with people who are into these fetishes, so it's as authentic as possible. Any artists you'd recommend?

@SamSykesSwears I haven’t played it yet. I heard it has a pretty difficulty curve with some bosses, and I just don’t feel like doing that to myself at the moment. It’s on my to-play list, though.

Just finished the Konpeki Plaza sequence and I totally get why people like Cyberpunk 2077 now. Intimate, personal criminal thriller with a lot of exciting menus. Really good game. Cried a little. See you in the major leagues, man.

That's more than just Jackie, even. I was actually sad to see stuff go down with Dex. I loved that character and understood his motivations. His actions felt tragic and it was a pity to watch him go. Characterization firing on all calibers. Really good work.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but when people from a marginalized group tell you somebody is bad news, you should listen. Even if that person seems cool/legit/visionary to you. Marginalized people have finely tuned their spidey senses through years of abuse and battle.

This is pretty much why I left my role in IR for a cybersecurity engineering role. Having everything focused around metrics and “improving the numbers” sucked the last bit of joy I was getting from my job.

I see this more and more as I hire senior IR people. Folks spend 2-4 years in an ostensible IR position but it’s become such a ticket / metrics farm they’ve had no room to grow, shadow, or develop outside an incredibly strict playbook. This doesn’t do anyone any favors… 🥲
