it’s crazy that a movie this commercially successful will have zero cultural impact and will not live on in our cultural memory whatsoever. nobody is going to quote lines from this movie or make any reference to it in the future, it’s entirely forgettable. and disney knows it, which is why they felt the need to include a callback to ratatouille (2007), a less commercially successful but astronomically more acclaimed and beloved animated movie from two decades ago. and no one in 2007 thought this was groundbreaking or remarkable. we were accustomed to a baseline of excellence.

everytime i see the yugi twins i think of the phantomhive twins.. they have so much in common
