@HISTORYUK @Levisonwood @AlexBescoby I’ve just watched ‘The Last Burma Star’ and found it very moving the search to honour one of the last survivors of the Burma Campaign. It is a sad fact that these brave hill tribes have never experienced peace since 1945 due to Britain’s inability to support their independence.
