Ernie Dosio, a millionaire American trophy hunter has been trampled to death by elephants during a hunting trip in Gabon. He was on a private expedition in the Lopé Okanda rainforest tracking a yellow backed duiker when he and his guide came across a herd of forest elephants including a calf. The elephants charged, seriously injuring the guide. Dosio was then trampled and killed. His trophy collection reportedly included elephants, lions, rhinos, leopards, and a wide range of North American deer species accumulated over decades of hunting.
