Promoting the rights of women and girls is a shared priority for the 🇬🇧 🇲🇦 . It was excellent to discuss this with Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family Naima Ben Yahia, including how we can protect women and girls from violence and ensure equality of opportunity.

The UK is proud to respond to the growing appetite for English language learning in Morocco. @ma_British and @MENPSGOV signed an MoU to support high-quality English language education, strengthen professional networks among educators, and foster the 🇲🇦🇬🇧 exchange of expertise.

Some of our best childhood memories are wrapped up in books like Harry Potter! 🇬🇧 🧹 Today, teachers from 25 UK and 25 Moroccan schools met in Marrakech 🇲🇦 to inspire new generations as part of our Reading for Pleasure partnership.

🌍Approximately 1.3 billion people have a disability, making people with disabilities the world’s largest minority group. Here in Marrakech🇲🇦, the Malaika Centre is doing inspiring work in supporting children with Down Syndrome, supported by the UK's 🇬🇧 @EFAMorocco #IDPD2025
