The authors of the Tehran study are confident on the radiocarbon dating to 1526-1796 CE, and Déroche agreed with Daneshpazuh and Badawi that this ms looked fake - so presumably the forgers must have been familiar with this passage from Ibn Abi Usaybi'a ?!

I was not expecting to find these modern Qur’anic forgeries in the Special Collections of Stanford University Library. One of them is a palimpsest, recycling the parchment of an Ethiopian manuscript! Thank you @bla222 for showing them! searchworks.stanford.edu/view/8568606
