This week, I welcomed a high-level delegation from Heifer International Uganda and its partner organizations at Igenge Royal Palace in Jinja City. The delegation, which included its head John Ssenyonga, the Project Director of Stimulating Agribusiness for Youth Employment (SAYE), Apollo Segawa the Executive Director of Consortium for Enhancing University Responsiveness to Agribusiness Development Ltd (CURAD) and John Walugembe the Executive Director of Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises (FSME) among others @Heifer_Uganda

The lawyers representing @NUP_Ug's Busiro East aspirant @SirWalukagga, led by @EliasNalukoola and @Alexluganda1 have petitioned the @UgandaEC 's decision regarding their client's nomination.

#Babafmupdates NUP's @SirWalukagga has appeared before the High Court to challenge the @UgandaEC's decision to pull him out of the Busiro East Parliamentary race over academic documents! He was represented by @EliasNalukoola, @Alexluganda1 and others! #UgandaDecides2026

We expect the High Court to overturn the @UgandaEC decision and give power to the people of Busiro East to decide. Political contests should be settled politically not through illegal shenanigans.

The Human Resource Committee of the Uganda Red Cross Society convened yesterday to receive and review the Management Report. The session provided an important platform to discuss key HR priorities, assess ongoing initiatives, and deliberate on strategies to strengthen organizational performance and staff welfare. The Committee commended the Management team for the progress highlighted in the report and reiterated its commitment to supporting a productive, motivated, and well-equipped workforce that continues to advance the mission of the Uganda Red Cross Society.
