@AndyBorstUGA One of my favorite clips ever (and of course I adore Emmitt). I even wrote about it for Grown & Flown! grownandflown.com/emmitt-smith-p…

As admission decision season begins, these 60 seconds are worth a listen.

WHOLESOME: When Emmitt Smith praised his son after he chose Stanford over his alma mater Florida. One of my favorite videos of all time 🥹

Remember when we used to have mock election day in schools- students would actually vote, there would be a count, results & they'd teach about how the process works - and kids would have to research who rhey were voting for a why.
It was a fun, educational & memorable exercise...
How exactly would that work today?

@mark_detterline I didn't see a single Hillary sign in my area (I4 corridor of Florida) in 2016. No yard signs, no bumper stickers. I have seen a lot of Harris/Walz signs!

@AllisonState Another problem is that many honors programs do not disclose their admission profiles or offer any data that might be useful for students/families. Many students are applying to honors programs with no shot of being accepted. For many, it's a waste of time and effort.
