In the light of the recent growth tweets shared by Web 3 lads, outsiders have been asking what Web 3 is, what do they do in Web 3? How to make money in Web 3? Let me break it down for you in simple terms, first off, RT this tweet so others can see it. Generally, Web 3 is the part of internet that uses decentralization to give users more control; think blockchain, think creating a token. Think of the Internet as a library, in Web 3, You can write your own stories, share them, and keep ownership, your name stays on the book forever, and no one can change or delete it because it’s stored safely on the blockchain. Here, you own a wallet, you keep assets in the wallet, you keep the keys to that wallet, you control everything about the wallet without any interference of a third party. So to the biggest question, what do we do in Web 3 and how do we make money in Web 3? There are different things to do and ways to make money here, infinite even, I will list a few out: - The most popular one, crypto trading: Trading generally means to buy something at a certain price and sell it for an increased price, in crypto, it’s the same, just with coins/tokens, it is the buying of tokens at a certain value and then trying to make money by selling it when its value rises, meme trading falls under this also. - NFT trading: NFTs are digital arts stored on the blockchain, trading it means to buy it and sell for higher prices, there are different ways to buying it. - Crypto Marketing: Marketing is the act of promoting something so that a lot of people can see it and probably pick interest in it, people who have a lot of followers can venture into promoting for crypto projects. - Yapping: This is a new trend, it means talking about a project everyday till you appear on their leaderboard so you can make money off it, it is monetized attention, it is also called InfoFi, which means to always provide information on a project on X in an aim to make money off it. - Developing: A developer is a person who develops an idea or a product. You can be a developer here and handle the tech side of things, you can be a blockchain dev, a smart contract dev, dApp dev etc. - Bringing your real life skill here: Web 3 is a universe of its own, the same way you can have different skills in real life and get employed for it is the same way you can get employed based on your skills here. You can be a Web 3 photographer, for Web 3 people and projects, you can be a UI/Web designer for Web 3 products, you can be a writer for Web 3 projects, you can be a product manager, business developer, event planner, community manager etc for Web 3 projects, almost all skills get a position here. There are different ways, strategies and how to make the most and position for these above points but that would be in another tweet, if this does well. If I were to share a word with someone just starting their journey in Web3, here are a few things I’d say: - Learn before you try to earn: one mistake people make is making the money their priority here that they forget to pay attention to what brings the money, resulting into wasted effort because they refused to learn properly. Never forget, knowledge is value and money follows value. When you learn properly before trying to earn, you save yourself from wasted effort and money. - Be Fluid: Never be that guy that sticks to one chain, one token, one project, be everywhere, be ready to shift with the meta as narratives never last long in this space, this is how to make the most money. - Never joke with security: Be conscious of your security, the links you click, how you keep your funds and how to safe guard your assets because you will lose the money you made if not kept well, I have a lot of posts about this on my page, you can just search “security”. - Learn the art of risk management: this is something people don’t really talk about, but the thing is Web 3 is a very volatile space and you can lose all your money in a blink of an eye, know what to risk, when to risk and how long to risk. - As much as you might like chasing airdrops, web 3 jobs etc, never forget to learn trading because it makes you independent, you can always make money when you want, be it spot, futures or degen. @frosty_web3 might be the reason I ranked pretty high on my first Infinex bullrun game. The next however was a shitshow 😅😅, including the current round.

So much to build so little time…. 19 days until Permissionless in NYC. That means V1 of Infinex Connect needs to be finished in 19 days. What will V1 look like? Well I guess you’ll just have to wait and see 😁 gInfinex and gRambo.

The coolest part about Infinex Connect is that it will make every dApp chain agnostic. For example, Aave has separate markets for base, arb, eth... This will collapse into 1 market where you can access your multichain portfolio. dApp UX will increase massively. Everywhere.

The team has recently announced that Infinex Connect will be ready prior to Permissionless NYC on 6/24 Whats not yet certain is if Patrons will get a preview prior to general public. Either way, I will make every effort to test out the full functionality of Infinex Connect as soon as possible. Why? –– @infinex has a rich history of rewarding users that try new features. Given that yaprun is a combination of social activity and onchain activity, I wouldn't be suprise if some bonus or multiplier of uPatrons is added to those that used Infinex Connect. –– We also know that many MegaEth and Fogo dAPPs will be some of the first to be use the Infinex Connect SDK. Its not out of the ordinary that these protocols would considering airdropping some tokens to early infinex connect users. I am also curious to see how Infinex Connect functionality lines up with how I imagined it in my article below. Im confident that I only scratched the surface and anxious to hear more details.
