The BBC’s Local Democracy Service was launched to fill the local democracy deficit resulting from the decimation of local newsrooms. The LDRs (local democracy reporters) do a great job but the country could probably do with more of them @bbcpaddy

@adam_ldr Now that you’re a health nut, you might like to know that The Doctor’s Kitchen has a yummy soup recipe made of beetroot, carrots, celery and ginger. I think there’s a tedious apple in there as well. So basically it’s a hot smoothie. Which sounds like a man I’d like to avoid.
