Clearly a talented player, but for the money and hype you’re expecting a David/Bernardo Silva, KDB esque career of dominating PL games, and he looks miles off that level.

Another completely anonymous 68 minutes from Florian Wirtz. Not simply one of the worst signings of the season for £116m, but one of the worst first seasons on value for money in Premier League history. It remains a pure act of wizardry that he escapes real media scrutiny.

#thfc if de zerbi’s games go well, the board are willing to give him a large ‘warchest’ in the summer to spend. The sum of the money is undecided, but is rumoured to be around £175 million. The club know they need a rebuild of this squad, and that’s what they are prepared to do.
