So... I've got some news! The reason I've been quiet recently. #organdonation #DoubleLungTransplant I am extremely lucky & will always be thankful to my donor. For their act of pure kindness during their darkest hour! I've shared some of my journey below. @CFAware @cftrust

It's Andrew's wife. Heartbroken to post this, Andrew passed away on Sunday 22 October. He was the most amazing husband, Dad to Amelia, son and brother. Life won't be the same. We love you Andrew 💔❤️

@mrscmway I'm really sorry for your loss. It's heartbreaking to hear! I've currently fighting cancer, had a lung transplant, and a million complications. In & out of hospital. Causing this kind of pain to my wife & kid terrifies me. I hope the good times you shared outweigh the pain! ❤️❤️

I’ve been widowed for 8 months today. 8 months without my best friend. 8 months of wishing I could change that fateful day, just going over and over it in my head continuously. I’m exhausted I’m lonely and I just wish he was here. I just miss him so much.

@Andyassert Not that long. They were bred to get around the Pitbull definition in the 1991 ban. Breeders won a court case in 2015. Ownership took off in 2020 with the Lockdown puppy-buying frenzy. People then bred as get-rich-quick scheme. Now the Lockdown dogs and offspring are mature.

I'm assuming these Bully XL dogs have been around a while... Yet every time I turn on the news recently its like somebody else has died because of them! Either the media didn't report them before, or the dogs have gotten together and decided to kill on mass... 🤷‍♂️

I'm not saying the Tory party is as bad as the Nazi's (although I may think that privately), but surely they are employing the same tactics. Blame immigrants for everything!! Unite against a common enemy, and people won't see the bigger problems. They are just making shit up now!

I like to think I know a little about history. Before the second world war Germany was on its arse. Bankrupt and isolated after WW1. To rally the people, a common enemy, the Jews, was put forward. This distracted everybody from everything else...

The Cornetto Trilogy - Shaun of the Dead and Worlds End are bang average, Hot Fuzz is a masterpiece. The first two mentioned suffer very badly from third act boredom, Hot Fuzz almost does too but just about avoids it.

Unpopular opinion, but I don't understand the British obsession with the NFL. You can't get behind your "home" team... apart from a few matches in London, you're unlikely to be able to watch "your" team... I don't understand it enough! 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

@calCPFC1 I've had more notifications from the BBC News app about RB than the whole Lucy Letby crimes. Surely, somebody who hasn't been arrested or charged isn't as big as somebody who's killed potentially countless babies. Something isn't right...

Finally, I got around to watching Barbie. It's somewhat clever... and visually very colourful... made me laugh a few times. Not 100% sure what a think overall.
