@Antreys_ i'd need to actually play this, but my biggest issue is i just don't think this flows well i just feel vocal charting like this invites basic and repetitive charting

Vowel charting is kinda cool if youre not relying on this rule for 100% of the song/chart lol I use vowels as a basic rule but then stray away from it for faster parts so the focus is instead on pattern flow. Was gonna post this anyways so! rechart example! 🧵

@Rizumu_plus the people saying to never do vowel charting is crazy to me. like I FULLY get it if theyre talking about charts with 100% vowel charting because those can be really bad/unfun but the complete disregard for being able to balance vowel relevance and fun patterns blows my mind

@Antreys_ Seeing people talk bad about vowel charing makes me wanna rip my hair out. It’s not like they gotta strictly follow it but the chart having SOME relevance to the notes played is better than NONE, like Darnell Bf mix for example

The more important thing to bring up with FNF vowel charting is to mix it with pitch relevance If there are 2 notes that sound like the same vowel but are not the same pitch, you should use a different direction for each. Can be a flexible rule also but rlly good to mix in imo!
