When we lift women, we lift families. When we empower women, we empower nations. To every woman reading this: You are unstoppable. You are irreplaceable. You are the future. Today, we celebrate you, but beyond today, we fight for you. The time for hesitation is over.

Rather than a grand celebration I chose to bring my friends and well-wishers to the orphanage to encourage them to join me invest in the future of the children. It was a fulfilling event for me as a number of my friends have committed to foster a child or two.
