@FTFonFS1 @getnickwright He’s been cooking all year but now people want to pay attention in march?
English

“I think Luka is building an argument that when you are discussing the MVP of this season, he’s gotta be one of the first names you say.”
@getnickwright thinks Doncic should be in the mix for MVP 👀
English

@GoldenKnightGFX If even 1 of the big 3 play I think it really helps have someone to lean on in case of emergency and hopefully keep the win streak alive
English

If they choose to sit I get it. Horrible scheduling by the league. Maybe the younger guys can pull off a win still 💯

As expected, the Lakers have a longer injury report on the second night of a back-to-back. Luka Dončić, LeBron James and Austin Reaves are all questionable for LA's game tonight against Miami.

@clarkcashes The 2 dribble pull up after a pump fake are the only dribbles he does 😂
English

@ToxicLakers He had such a good stretch of games that it was bound to slow down a bit, hopefully tn we can see a good game out of him then come playoff time have him rdy

Staff members in the Lakers organization say Luka treats everyone from drivers to arena workers with 'warmth and kindness,' making them feel like 'part of the team.' 🥺
"If people knew what Luka is like for all of us, they would have the highest possible opinion of him. Whether it’s representatives of minorities or people who get a job despite some physical handicap... Luka as a person and on the human side is a story that is even bigger than what he represents as a basketball player.
What he gives us with his kindness, warmth and understanding is worth the most. We feel like we are his. When he wins or his team wins, it’s not just an expression. I really feel that way. Because we are his and we win with him, he lets us know that every day."

@deadboylyfee Need him out there tn, these type of games are hugeeeee for a guy like him’s development and confidence

@BrickCenter_ People don’t realize the structured monster JJ is making and how the Lakers are working with him as much as he’s working with them
English

@GoldenKnightGFX He plays his role so well. When he gets inside he can finish but his hustle and grit is unmatched. He didn’t come here to score 15-20 a game, he lets AR, Luka, and Bron take care of that. His best games are maybe 8 points, 7 rebounds, 4 steals, and that’s really all we need
English

@ESPNNBA @WindhorstESPN @RichEisenShow Now we just figure out how to get Adou in there sometimes 😅😅😅😅
English

"[The Lakers] seem to have found a pathway for how to play with this roster."
@WindhorstESPN joined the @richeisenshow to discuss the Lakers and their seven-game win streak 🏀

@PurpGolded Saying all this while being the pinnacle of our defense is such a good mentality. Our guys want nothing short of Number 18 💍 and will not stop till they get it
English

“It it shows that we’re willing to get into the trenches and grind out —
We want to show we can’t get in those trenches and do those little dirty things to help us win.
Such as taking a shot to the face.
Elbow in the face.
Being physical.
Never backing down.
I’m very proud of us. We have a very long way to go, we have to turn around and do it again.”
Marcus Smart on the Lakers amping up their defense

@PurpGolded Saying all this while being the pinnacle of our defense is such a good mentality. Our guys want nothing short of Number 18 💍 and will do anything for it
English

@PurpGolded U can just see how much they trust each other rn. When a guy is open and makes the extra pass u can feel the connection, they know they’re clicking on all cylinders. Genuinely so proud of these guys
English

“When you connect like this at this time of the year, it’s so important.
You watch how they move the basketball.
You watch how they’re talking to another, uplifting. That’s what’s more important.
The body language and how you talk to your teammates. And how you get them going.
They’re clapping each other up.”
Robert Horry on the Lakers’ chemistry working now
