@Mike_Kurland I wouldn’t read too much into March baseball. They want to give Frelick a lot of early reps to see if this is even a possibility. Ortiz and Montisterio are plus defenders, they’ll get plenty of time at 3B.

@KevinPawell23 I mean the brewers have won 273 games in the last 3 seasons to the Cubs 228 and they have the 3rd best farm system to the Cubs 4th. These are just facts. The Brewers are a very well run organization. Consistently winning while improving the farm.

@MattCouture5 Keep in mind the Brewers won their division last year and do not plan to start a rebuild. Their preference is to probably trade Burnes, but they are more than okay with keeping him as well. If a team is serious about Burnes, the offer is going to have to hurt a bit.

Slowly losing my faith in #Brewers baseball as this off-season progresses. Sad times.

@Brandon_Sneide It doesn’t matter to me how the Brewers acquire their players. This offense is loads better with Winker, Contreras, and Garrett Mitchell (compared to Renfroe, Narvaez, and McCutchen). They’ll add a reliever and a bench bat. This has been a decent offseason for this front office.
