Some of our firefighters cool off after their participation in the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers 5K walk on Saturday, June 29th. Stephen Siller's family started the foundation to honor their brother, a NY City firefighter who lost his life on September 11, 2001.

Things don't play with fire, they know 2 ways out. Their alarms are all tested when adults are about. They keep clear the hydrants, Thing 1 and 2 do, because they want fire safety for me and for you!

Apple Valley Fire ran 16 calls from 12/31/18 through 1/1/19. Our last call of 2018 was a mutual aid call to a building fire in Burnsville. Our first call of 2019 was a mutual aid call to a building fire in Lakeville. Neighbors helping Neighbors. That's what we do!

Active and retired firefighters and their families had a great time with our Augustana friends last Thursday. Thanks to Flowerama for the carnations and the staff of Augustana for making this a great visit for everyone involved!
